The EU Cities Gateway – North America (EUCG-NA) project is now opening its first calls for cities and partners to take part in this exciting transatlantic cooperation initiative.
Building on the legacy of the International Urban and Regional Cooperation (IURC) North America programme and closely connected to the Global Covenant of Mayors, the EU Cities Gateway strengthens dialogue and cooperation between European, U.S., and Canadian cities.
The programme offers two main pathways:
- Multi-city pairings, where European cities join forces with several partners across North America to exchange solutions and best practices.
- Thematic networks, communities of practice focused on shared challenges such as nature-based solutions, circular economy, digitalisation and innovation as well as affordable and attainable housing and innovative living spaces.
This is a unique opportunity for cities and regions to collaborate internationally, co-create innovative solutions to shared problems, and strengthen urban diplomacy across the Atlantic.
At Legado Sharpe & Fischer, we are proud to support the implementation of the EUCG-NA communication strategy, helping to connect cities, policymakers, and communities through effective storytelling and outreach.
