Dorothee Fischer
Dorothee Fischer is an accomplished communications professional with over 20 years of experience in international relations and human rights projects. In 2019, she co-founded Legado Sharpe & Fischer SL with her husband, Oliver Sharpe, to take on larger communication projects and campaigns.
Her work spans European institutions, international organizations, local governments, NGOs, universities, and private companies worldwide. Prior to becoming a freelancer in 2014, Dorothee held roles in several EU territorial cooperation programmes and an international NGO, supporting local democracy and sustainable development.
In August 2024, Dorothee obtained a certificate as a Business and Career Coach and is now expanding her services to offer more holistic strategic advice to her clients, going beyond communications to include business and career development.
Dorothee is fluent in German, English, French, and Spanish. She helps her clients develop and implement effective communication strategies, creating tools and campaigns such as videos, publications, social media content, events, and infographics. She also frequently moderates and facilitates events and leads training sessions on communication and international development.
Her true passion lies in content creation and storytelling. Whether sharing personal stories or highlighting the impact of complex, technical projects, Dorothee strives to evoke emotion and create meaningful connections. She is always on the lookout for the most effective tools and channels to bring stories to life.
In addition, one of her greatest strengths is team and project coordination. Calm under pressure, Dorothee focuses on finding solutions and motivating her team through any challenge they experience along the way.
Oliver Sharpe
Oliver Sharpe is a seasoned professional with over 20 years of experience as a chef, complemented by a deep passion for personal growth and holistic well-being. In his 30s, Oliver expanded his expertise by studying massage therapy, reflexology, and Reiki, seeking to enrich his skills and further his understanding of the mind-body connection.
Twelve years ago, his journey of self-discovery led him to the world of shamanism, where he embarked on a four-year commitment to the Fuego Sagrado de Itzachilatlan (Sacred Fire of Itzachilatlan, Red Path). This transformative experience granted him the blessing to serve as a Temazcal (sweat lodge) facilitator and a bearer of the Chanupa (peace pipe), empowering him to guide others through these sacred traditions.
For Legado Sharpe & Fischer, Oliver continues to manage catering for film productions and event management, leveraging his culinary expertise while also practicing as a certified Life Coach, helping individuals unlock their full potential.

Suzanne Gedeuke
Suzanne is a dynamic communication specialist with broad experience across both non-profit and for-profit sectors. As a freelancer, she helps organisations strengthen their online presence through social media management and design, digital marketing, and blog writing. Suzanne is adept in both designing social media strategies and putting them into action.
She is the founder of Menudosviajeros.com, a popular Spanish-language family travel guide, where she combines her passion for writing and travel with her knowledge of digital content creation. Suzanne’s international background and fluency in English, Spanish, and Dutch allow her to work effectively in multicultural environments.
Highly organised and efficient, Suzanne is known for her fast work pace, attention to detail, and consistent delivery of high-quality results as a reliable team player. Whether developing a social media strategy from scratch or executing individual components like content creation and advertising, she delivers effective solutions tailored to your needs. Suzanne’s focus is always on clear, engaging communication that leaves a lasting impact on her audience.
Caitlin Boucher
Caitlin is an experienced consultant in the field of international cooperation and development and a seasoned translation specialist. Her work has taken her across diverse sectors, including international organizations, NGOs, educational institutions, and the private sector. After working as a project consultant for the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO – UN) in Chile, she expanded her global experience by relocating to Vietnam and then to the Netherlands, where she worked at an international nonprofit organisation. Eager to continue learning and gain more project-based experience, she pursued a Master’s degree in strategies and technologies for development in Madrid, Spain.
Fluent in Spanish and English, Caitlin specialises in research, report writing, and Spanish-English translation, having worked on high-level UN and European publications. She consistently delivers top-quality analyses and reports on relevant topics such as the Sustainable Development Agenda, European-Latin American cooperation, and cross-border European initiatives. Caitlin’s expertise extends to developing and systematising reports that focus on lessons learned, best practices, and strategic recommendations. Her strength lies in synthesising complex projects and information into clear, actionable insights that can be easily understood by the target audience. As a translator, she strives to promote intercultural communication by reflecting the original meaning of documents with accuracy, well-researched terminology, and a keen sensitivity to the political and cultural nuances of each context.
Caitlin is passionate about projects that advance gender equality, cooperation and sustainability. Having worked in several different countries and with ample travel experience, she truly enjoys interacting with colleagues and clients from different backgrounds and seeks to ensure cultural understanding in her professional and private life.

Benjamin Ruzic
Benjamin Ruciz is a highly skilled web designer and digital marketing specialist with over a decade of experience. Since joining forces with Legado Sharpe & Fischer, Benjamin has played a key role in the development of numerous websites, contributing to the agency’s success.
In 2013, he founded his own company in Germany, initially focusing on print design and social media. As the digital landscape evolved, Benjamin shifted his expertise toward website development, specialising in WordPress since 2017. Over the years, he has successfully completed more than 150 projects, delivering high-quality, user-friendly websites for a wide range of clients.
In 2023, Benjamin expanded his services to provide a comprehensive suite of web design, SEO, and digital marketing solutions. His diverse clientele spans the political sphere, fashion industry, retail, and small to medium-sized enterprises, showcasing his versatility and adaptability.
Benjamin’s passion for creative design, innovative SEO strategies, and the development of professional websites sets him apart in the industry. Fluent in German, Serbian, English, and Spanish, he works with clients from around the globe, bringing his expertise to an international audience.
Horacio Alcalá
Horacio Alcalá is an award-winning Mexican-Spanish director and cinematographer known for his feature films, compelling documentaries, and social advocacy through film. With a focus on human rights, cultural diversity, and cross-border cooperation, Horacio’s work transcends entertainment, aiming to inspire social change and foster inclusivity. For the past 10 years, he has collaborated on numerous audiovisual projects with Dorothee Fischer, CEO of Legado Sharpe & Fischer, contributing his unique vision and expertise to the company’s productions.
Horacio’s career began with independent projects in Berlin and has since evolved into an internationally recognized body of work. His films have earned critical acclaim at prestigious festivals in Boston, New York, Tokyo, and Guadalajara. His feature film FINLANDIA was nominated for three Ariel Awards, Mexico’s highest cinematic honor, solidifying his reputation as a filmmaker deeply connected to human stories.
A key element of Horacio’s career is his dedication to social projects addressing pressing issues like migration, LGTBI+ rights, and global cooperation. From January to August 2024, he led the development and production of video content for an online learning platform aimed at promoting cross-border collaboration. His work with European institutions, including the North-South Centre of the Council of Europe, has resulted in impactful projects focusing on global education and the celebration of human rights defenders.
Horacio is fluent in Spanish, English, French, and German. Beyond his technical expertise, he is known for his calm and collaborative leadership style. He consistently motivates his team to bring complex stories to life, fostering a creative and solution-oriented environment. Alex Sarceño
Alex Sarceño is a video editor and graphic designer from Guatemala, recognised for his expertise in editing, animation, and motion graphics, particularly in projects related to European institutions and cross-border initiatives. Working with Legado Sharpe & Fischer, Alex has been involved in numerous international projects, including documentaries, promotional campaigns, and social impact initiatives.
His extensive contributions include editing and creating motion graphics for various European Cooperation programmes, such as TESIM ENI or the B-solutions initiative managed by the Association of the European Border Regions/DG REGIO. Alex’s ability to transform complex subjects into engaging visual content has made him a key asset in delivering messages.
His artistic talents extend to cultural projects, such as the Out of the Box Festival in Munich, where Alex was responsible for editing, colour grading, and animating a video that encapsulated the experimental art showcased at the festival. His work on My Kingdom Come, a documentary about a Spanish athlete’s journey through adversity, further highlights his strength in creating emotionally resonant stories through video.
With a calm, problem-solving approach, he is adept at managing complex workflows, from organising raw data to delivering polished, high-quality content. His versatility and dedication make him a reliable and innovative professional, capable of creating visually compelling stories that resonate with diverse audiences.
Daniela Castro
Daniela Castro is a Colombian video editor and graphic designer with over nine years of experience in audiovisual production, focusing on motion graphics, post-production, and digital design. Daniela combines expertise in video editing, colour correction, and creating graphic designs for both digital and print media.
In Colombia, Daniela worked on projects for the National Education Forum, where she designed motion graphics and digital content to support educational reforms and public policy initiatives.
Currently based in Madrid, Daniela has contributed to a wide range of international projects together with Legado Sharpe & Fischer. In addition, she has been involved in impactful global events, such as the Paris Peace Forum, where she designed and implemented motion graphics to support digital content promoting global cooperation. In addition, she played a significant role in the postproduction of Finlandia, a feature film that addresses LGTBI+ themes across Spain and Mexico where her design work contributed to the film’s artistic vision. One of Daniela’s most recent and remarkable works includes her colour correction and editing for the movie FACELOVE, a SkyShowtime original.
Daniela excels in blending creativity with technical precision, bringing a keen eye for detail to every project. Her strengths lie in video editing, colour correction, and visual design, where she effectively transforms ideas into compelling visuals. With a talent for crafting clear and impactful content, she uses her expertise to communicate complex concepts in engaging and accessible ways.
